My father has the following car for sale in Columbus Ohio:
1981 AUDI 5000S DIESEL--
5-spd
33,000 miles
31-37 mpg in suburban driving
velour interior
2 of the radials have < 6000 miles on them
Ok, so a diesel won't snap your neck at the stop-light Grand Prix.
But I've driven the car, and it very simply is perfectly designed.
