I'm running "Bnews" on my NeXT, and I've recently upgraded to version 2.0 of the NeXT operating system. Everything works fine except that today I noticed that the "expire" program was failing with an error trying to find the members of some group (the message said something about NEWSGRP). I reasoned that it was trying to discover the members of the group "news" and that this was stored in NetInfo, and that it was possible that things changed slightly in the API for NetInfo. To make a long story short, recompiling all the source for Bnews caused the problem to go away, and my news is expiring again (which is good, because there is no such thing as enough disk space). If you're running news under 2.0 you might want to check your /usr/adm/daily.log file or wherever you expire your news to see if you're running into problems too.
