I have been trying to get some printing to a NeXT laser printer from a
Sun without success...for months. I haven't been able to find
anything wrong, so I thought I would try y'all. The NeXT is running
1.0, the Sun SOS 4.0.3 and 4.1:
lpc status np
np:
queuing is enabled
printing is enabled
1 entry in spool area
waiting for dna.bchs.uh.edu to come up <---- ????? Works fine
on the Cube
Here's the printcap on the Sun

What, exactly, is this thing waiting for? The queue is indeed there
and working on the NeXT from the NeXT. Do the queues have to be named
the same on both machines? [I am pretty sure I tried that initally
and it didn't work].
Any clues would be welcome. Please e-mail and I will summarize if
there is interest.
