[comp.sys.next] Fonts transfer, FrameMaker2.0b

nota@cdp.UUCP (12/27/90)

I have transfered Macintosh Adobe type 1 fonts to NeXT computer.
I did'n produce bitmap fonts for NeXT.
Everythink goes okay, all programms work fine.
But FrameMaker don't see my new fonts, and after I tried to set
any of my new font within FrameMaker it exit with "internal error 8" message.
I have FrameMaker 2.0b and OS 2.0.
I live to onother side of the earth from USA .It is very difficult to me to upgrade
FrameMaker2.0b to 2.0d, and I often thinking about
to down-grate my OS 2.0 to OS 1.0.

Who knows this problem pls answer.

P.S.
I can not install Type 1 fonts to /LocalLibrary.
May be it is becaus I have'n bitmap fonts?
But I easy install this fonts to NextLibrary.
P.S.S.
But Type 3 (user defined) fonts you can easy install to you Local Library without
bitmap fonts.
If someone know what does it all mean pls mail me.

This may or may not help, but if nota wishes to keep NeXTstep 2.0, he
will need to up maker 2.0b to 2.0c. If NeXTstep 2.0 is present, then
the FrameMakerUpdate app will be present and when run, will up
maker to 2.0c (See Pascal's recent post for the step-by-step).
Do the same errors manifest with maker 2.0c under NeXTstep 2.0?
