[comp.sys.next] SCSI driver programming question

cyliax@dynamo.ecn.purdue.edu (Ingo Cyliax) (12/30/90)

Is there a way to initialize the "/dev/rsd??" driver to be able to use
a drive that doesn't have a disk label on it ? I want to be able to
read/write a SCSI disk, but I don't want to initialize the drive to have
a label. I can use the "/dev/sg0" driver to talk to the drive, but this
doesn't let me use the read/write syscalls.
