Does anyone know if it is available for anonymous FTP? > >I would recompile it myself, but since I only have the 105Mb HD, I don't >have room for the C compiler. > sorry, this is not a direct reply to your query. just a comment that i was able to get the complete C development tools and all libraries onto my 105MB disk. this includes appinspector, mallocdebug, (that other new application, whatever it was), the complete interface builder, gdb, and all of the little utilities like ranlib, as, ld, etc. plus mathematica 1.0. the only thing that wouldn't fit was all of the dsp libraries. (boy, you sure do learn what's important and what's not when you only have a few megs to play with!) the only real sacrifice i made (aside from some minor thing i don't recall at the moment) was pretty much all of /NextLibrary. face it, webster without pictures is no fun at all -- that's almost 15 megs right there. after adding a few of my favorite cad programs, i still have about 6 megs free for development. it works out as long as you disable the core dumps.
