I'd like to use berkley nameservice for address resolution on my cubes. I only need to run as a client so I set up /etc/resolv.conf accordingly. Unfortunately, this doesn't get me anywhere. It looks like the libc resolvers aren't setup to use 'bind' nameservice. This makes sense because netinfod wants to do this resolution anyway. But before I port the whole berkley bind distribution I was wondering if anyone is using brekley nameservice successfully? I tried killing netinfod because I'm uninterested in the services it provides, but it doesn't 'bind' still doesn't work.
