Let's see, I think understatement might be best.
Email from on high informs me that a few thousand NeXTstations
will ship this month and that 68040 upgrades are shipping. If
there are product quality problems, they want to know about it.
Not bad response, in my book. My own impression is that it's
never going to be easy, and that it's impossible to be 100%
perfect all the time. But they're listening out there, which
as long as we don't have unrealistic expectations is a Very
Good Thing.
