I wonder if anyone can come up with any information on the following Toyota model, about whose model number I am not certain. It is a 2-door hatchback Corolla, called by the dealer an SR-5, and appears to be listed in the Motor Trend 1986 New Car Buying Guide. It appears to have the same engine as the 4-door hatchback, but the 4-door has front wheel drive, while this 2-door has real wheel drive. It is a bit sporty, for instance has a tachometer, and the price is about $1000 higher than that of the 4-door. There does not appear to be an equivalent 1985 model, and I can't find any dope on the car, particularly with respect to crash tests and how tolerant the bumpers are of 5mph taps. Any solid info on this model will be greatly appreciated.
