Well ok, I decided to make the jump to 2.0 (no upgrade has arrived, but
the guy NeXT sent my NeXTstep2.0 to let me borrow it and make a copy.
Now I went went through the upgrade of my hard drive just like the
manual says, but now I can't login from our local terminal server
anymore. It gets to the login: prompt and then nothing! Now everything
works reasonably well when I login from another machine (not a NeXT)
to which I have dialed in from the terminal server, except when viewing
a directory with ls, the screen suddenly starts
to look
like
this about 30 lines down. Should I have
done something differently with the installation? Anyone else have this
problem?
BTW, has anybody done much with the Zilla.app? It looks like
a very interesting item. Now it would be really fine if you could use
this with Mathematica in interesting ways.
