Well, I agonized all day about this decision (wait for my 400Mb system or pick up a 200Mb immediately) -- finally I decided to get the 200Mb system. I received about 35 responses from the net and the advice was evenly split between "wait" & "don't wait". The two key elements were: 1) I called Margaret H. (shipping coordinator) at NeXT and she said my system is NOT in the next weeks build list (first 400Mb systems) and she didn't know when it would be built. I also asked about SR2.0 Extended floppies and she said the current schedule is mid-to-late February (but that might change). 2) There's a lot of stuff I can do with the machine between now and when I get the developer software (download or diskettes). The details: I received a 200Mb NeXTStation and laser printer, back-ordered SR2.0 Ext plus the printed Technical Documentation, and got a refund of $850. I plan to purchase a 3rd party drive as soon as possible to expand my total storage to at least 500Mb. Then, I stayed up far too late playing with my new machine. Thanks for the help Tyler PS: The Ohio State Computer Store has 2 - 200Mb NeXTStations and 1 NeXTLaser in stock. First come -- first served.
