I participate as a member of a FF team, in the Chicago Land Sports Car Club. If you are a member of SCCA and drive a TIGER you should know by now the the Indy 500 is a race between a bunch of ying yangs running around in circles for 3 hours.

I must agree that the Indy is a little boring from the standpoint of 4 left turns etc. but for some reason I find myself drawn to the track each year. Our seats are located opposite the pits on the starting line so it makes for good spectating. Certainly nothing beats being out on a good road course (I wish I could afford Formula Ford but find it difficult to feed the Tiger) in a fun car. I drive a Tiger because I love that old sports car and like to show that it still has potential. With C production class being phased out there is a good chance the Tiger will be moved into GT1 and then the excitement should really begin. By the way it looks like the old USAC vs CART wars are starting up again. I wish the track would adopt the CART rules and dump USAC since it seems USAC isn't interested in racing (at least at INDY).
