Folks may be wondering about the Emacs app, and why it hasn't been fully adapted to work under 2.0 yet. Well, the bad news is that John Myers (the author) no longer has access to a NeXT machine at work. Being subject to the whims of higher-ups, he's no longer a NeXT user. (This is a reason I surround myself with my *own* workstations.) The good news is that he's my roommate, so he has access to my Slab. Of course, it being on a desk in my room, he doesn't use it much, especially since he now does his work on a pmax (...thanks to his evil employers. At least he's managing to refrain from using X11.). He's assured me that if I harass him enough, he'll finish getting the thing to behave itself under 2.0.
