In NextAnswers (sysadmin.569) there is one more explanation of why the swapfile doesn't shrink unless you reboot. I routinely generate 200 MB swapfiles which don't go away and so are rather inconvenient. Is this considered to be a bug, and if so, will it be fixed in the next release (will there be NeXTstep2.1 ???). -Bill -- __________________Prof. William V.
