RATS! I wanted to be a pleased customer also. Unfortunately, when I
called our company's local rep for Fast Access, I was told that they
don't have any more of the drives in stock. Worse yet, it seems that
the sudden interest for a drive with this price has made them extinct
on stock room shelves everywhere. Fast Access says they probably not
get another shipment of drives from Fujitsu until around the Feb/Mar
time border.

Anyone else know of an alternate source selling these drives? It
looks like Chris got one of the last ones from Fast Access.

I ordered one last week and haven't received it yet. So, I called
Fast Access. Fortunately, they told me that the drives are coming
in sometime this week and will be available shortly.

Yep, right after reading this, I got a call from Mike and was told
that they have about 40 drives coming in next week. I got mine
reserved and waiting for pickup.

I know that there are a lot of people out there like me that took
advantage of the BusinessLand sale to get an inexpensive 030 cube
without NeXT's inflated price for a big disk drive. From all the
information gathering/shopping around I did this has been the best
$$$/megabyte that I could find (thanks to Chris Songer's previous post!)

Some things to note:

     - 5 yr warranty on the drive
     - 48 hour turnaround time on hardware failure (I guess they keep
some in stock for replacement purposes only) from Fast Access.
     - the price on the drive is rock bottom. I tried to get a
quantity discount for a user group and some other people that
purchased a diskless cube - no deal.
