[comp.sys.next] Cursor Blink Rate

anderson@macc.wisc.edu (Jess Anderson) (01/29/91)

One thing that continues to plague me (although obviously
not yet to death :-) is the glacial rate at which the text
more cursor blinks. I'd like it to be at least twice as
fast, if that's possible. After shopping around on various
preferences, I still haven't found it, if it's there. The word
blink doesn't seem to exist in the online docs, but it seemed
rather a strain to track down the many instances of cursor.
Is there a remedy?

Run your favorite application with -NXShowPS and you'll
understand. Then think about what happens with -NXHost.

Blinking cursors are not DPS's forte.

Hey, it beats the heck outta X. Would you rather ship bitmaps around
all over the place?
