I've heard that the double-sided optical disks that some people are selling can hurt your optical drive. I'd like to shoot this rumor down, so if anybody has some hard facts, please post. (OD-drives seem to be flaky enough without problems like this pushing them over the edge.) - -John H. Osborn -osborn@cs.utexas.edu

I've been using double-sided OD cartridges for over a month now (optical out - flip - optical in) and I've had no problems. /* ** ============================================================================ ** ** Felix A.
