Three more questions about Release 2.0 for the net: 1. Is there any way to keep the default volume setting in preferences from changing when the volume is changed from the keyboard? 2. Is there anyway to disable the volume, power and/or brightness keys on the keyboard (e.g., make them work only when the alt or ctrl key is also held down), so that I don't have to keep suffering the consequences of hitting them accidently. 3. Is there any way to control the volume of an individual sound file? (Ideally, sndplay should have a volume option, but I would be satisfied with a filter that converts file.snd to newfile.snd, where newfile.snd is a louder or softer version of file.snd. 4. When I rlogin to another next from a terminal, after being asked for the terminal type the prompt jumps to the top of the screen, and the session overwrites what was already on the screen. From there on, the session scrolls fine, but the initial screen's worth of jumbled letters is annoying. I suspect it is something I need to fix in my .cshrc. Any suggestions? 5. I remember hearing that emacs had been adapted to work with the mouse on the NeXT. What's the story. Is that the Emacs that does not work with 2.0?
