Hey why stop with black? My cube was painted hot pink over year ago,
it really looks sharp with the disk plate still black and next logo intact. It is
the first "color-ed NeXT" machine.

I know of at least one computer store that will take a computer (they usually do Macintoshes) and custom paint the case. I'd imagine they would do peripherals, as well. I've seen some pretty wild Macs come out of their store.
