This would save some people a considerable amount of I might give this a try fo the epson. On a slightly different point, has anyone hooked up a device other then the NeXT laserwriter to the printer port on a slab? How hard would it be to make a coverter to go from the printer port format to a centronics connector? (And, how interested would other people be in having such a device?) Music Fonts: A while back, a person posted a message about the NeXT not having a PS music font. In the same message, he/she mentioned that for the apple, there is a free music font available for the Mac via anon ftp from sumex. Given that other people have mentioned moving Mac fonts to the NeXT, is there a reason that the free music font can't be used? Or is the font only free to Mac owners. 3'rd party developers While some may complain about NeXT's participation on comp.sys.next, I would like to mention that some of the 3'rd party developers do read this group. Thanks Pencom and Lighthouse! DSP Another post asked where to get info on the format used by the DSP port on the NeXT. This might be covered in the 56000/56001 manual which Motorola sells.
