Seems to me that a long time ago, couple of years now, I was playing around with the demo NeXT in the campus computation center, and they had a really nice version of Tetris. I've seen lots of versions of Tetris at lots of the ftp sites, but none like this first one. The entire game was... configurable. You could choose _block-size_, and level, and keyboard control of course, and I think also the hieghth and width of the playing-box, in terms of blocks. The only version I can find these days has none of these inhancements, and although you can select a start-level, it does not automatically progress in difficulty. Sure was fun, playing with those mongo blocks, about an inch across! Oh, and it also showed off the machine's capabilities pretty nicely, too. You could make the falling blocks as big or as tiny as you wanted, and they'd still fall fast and smooth - instantaneous keyboard response and screen updates. Anywhere this version can be ftp'd? Anywhere this version can be, gasp, bought? Thanks, Stuart ------------------------------====================----------------------------- --

Aarrrgh ... keep that Tetris game away from me! I have barely recover from my last Tetris binge! It cost me three months of productivity!!! Yes ... I am a reformed Tetris-oholic. But seriously, I think I can handle this really nice version that Stuart mentioned. If YOU know where this version can be FTP'ed, PLEASE post it! :-) Joe jchin@van-bc.wimsey.bc.ca -- ************************************************************** * "Kill the body and the head will die" (Hunter S.
