[comp.sys.next] Setting up disk partitions

 I recently received a 1.2GB fujitsu hard drive from Fast Acess and
am having a bit of trouble understanding just how to set up my disk
partitions.
 Right now I have a 256 MB root partition with everything in it
except the /u directtory.  This appears to be a bad way to do
things.

 The questions I have are,

  1) What is the standard way to partition a unix file system?

  2) Can I simply edit my disktab entery and re-boot, or do I have
     to rebuild my disk?

  3) Once all this is done, what do I mount where?
