I just saw something in comp.text that I thought would be of interest to this group as well (it was also xposted comp.sys.mac.app). Someone has made available (via anon ftp) a set of filters for rtftoX (where X is one of text, troff, etc). Here is part of the message: The translators currently available are listed below. Most of them don't do anything interesting. rtf2null RTF -> nothing rtf2text RTF -> plain text rtf2troff RTF -> troff rtfwc "translates" RTF into character, word and paragraph count rtfdiag RTF diagnostic program, used mainly to test RTF reader rtfskel RTF translator skeleton, for use in building new translators If you're interested, check out comp.text or comp.sys.mac.app. Given all the fuss lately about SLIP and next.com (and the fact that *I* was involved in a similar debacle a while back), I think I'll leave it up to anyone interested to check out those groups and see the original post for info on where to get the sources.
