UGH!! I just returned from the San Francisco car show and am absolutely appaled and disgusted with Porsche's handling of the mandated 3rd tail light. If you haven't seen it, it's mounted just above the air intake vents on the rear hood. It sits up like a duck at a shooting gallery, and should be lopped off. If Porsche America had any sense of class at all, they'd supply every buyer with a rear hood from an '85. It'll fit. On the other hand, they didn't do a bad job on the 3rd light for the Coupe or Targa. Mercedes flew in their C-111 experimental from 1969. It looked nice, and reminded me of lying in the mud long ago reading R&T. Jim Bauman sivax
