[comp.sys.next] NeXT World, is it for real?

me@spirea.UiB.NO (My Account) (03/01/91)

Hi.

I was wondering how many people had received their "Free Premeire Issue" of NeXT World magazine.

The reason I'm asking is because I sent in the form a few months ago, and got a "thanks for your inquiry to subscription" card back. No "Free Premeire Issue" :-(

Well, I sent them a scathing letter saying I would decide to subscribe when I had seen their sample, reminded them that I had sent in this card for the Premeire Issue, included both their letter and offer, etc, and what do I get?

A new "regarding your inquiry to subscription" card. (AAAARRRGGHHH!!!)

Since it is now apparent that they didn't read my letter, maybe they'll read _this_.

I'd like NeXT World to honor their offer "Free Premeire Issue", (that's what it said...)

If they don't feel like sending magazines to "potential" subscribers they shouldn't send us "mail in this card today for your free premeire issue of NeXT World!" cards.

Am the only one experiencing this strange marketing twist?

I hope so, for everyone elses sake.
