[comp.sys.next] Problem with npd

u-sgreen%peruvian.utah.edu@cs.utah.edu (Scott Greenman) (03/02/91)

Recently, one of our NeXT laser printers stopped working.
After closer inspection, it seems to me that it is a software problem.
Here is an excerpt of /usr/adm/messages:

I tried unhooking the printer and rebooting, I copied npd and npcomm from
a machine that has no printer problems, I erased /dev/np0 and remade it
with MAKEDEV.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
