   I just read newsgroups satistics summary (from news.lists) and here
are some numbers for comp.sys.next...

- comp.sys.next is 32nd by volume, ie. kilobytes per month.  In the last
month or so, 2685 KB/month is being distributed.

- posting rate is 1682 messges/month

- an estimated 46000 people read this group, which ranks 123rd of all
newsgroups or 3.9% of all news readers.
