I have read on comp.sys.mac of people who placed an anti-static dryer cloth (such as a "Bounce" cloth) in front of their disk drive on a MacIIcx/ci in order to protect their drive from dust (the Macs suck air through the open drive bay and out the back of the machine). Will this approach work on the NeXT? I wouldn`t know how to test if these cloths will provide sufficient air flow. If they do work, then this might be a feasible alternative as I wait for my genuine NeXT OD Filter. Marc. -=- schwarz@cis.ohio-state.edu
