Hi! I just parted my hard drive. In the mean time, I want to use a floppy disk to boot from the computer. I know that there were some discussions about this regard, but I forget. Let say you made a floppy bootable, what kind of functions can you do? Do you get Unix shell? WorkSpace manager? or what? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks -Chris, _ * Chris W. It would probably have the utilities needed to copy files, and not much more. Yes, I really wish I knew how to make such a bootable floppy, so that I can restore, say, from an Exabyte or DAT drive if my system harddisk ever dies. Someone, please give us instructions how to do this... /ivo
