I have 68,020 (no pun) miles on my `82 Saab 900 Turbo. The car has enjoyed many trouble-free, elevated-boost miles riding with IPD's front and rear anti-roll bars. Things are starting to soften up a bit; and I think I'm feeling more and more of the springs natural rate, rather than their normally well-controlled selves. Please respond by mail if you can help me with these questions. I'll summarize and forward to "The Saab Club" 1) Do the S/Turbo issue OEM shocks normally die around 70,000 miles? If not, when? 2) What kind of failure modes do the OEM shocks exhibit? (Is my malady normal?) 3) Any suggestions for a "fave rave" replacement for my "boy racer" driving habits? (`been spoiled by light loading and the IPD hardware). (i.e. simulate faster spring rates) Shep Siegel UUCP: [ihnp4 | mirror]!datacube!shep Datacube Inc.; 4 Dearborn Rd.; Peabody, Ma. 01960; +1 617 535 6644
