Is there any way to modify the behavior of mail so that you can deliver mail to any arbitrary address to a file? I know you can change the program used to send mail in Preferences, but I'm not sure how I would actually get a hold of the file to be sent. I am using a standalone NeXTstaion and am trying to find an easy way to send and receive mail using NeXT's App through a modem. I can now easily get the mail down to the NeXT into /usr/spool/mail. I now would like an easy way to get it up, and sending it to a file and then automating an upload seems possible. Does anyone have any ideas on doing this? Can the current sendmail program me modified to do this? Does the program specified in Preferences for sending mail simply get passed the file via stdin? Ideally, I would like to be able to send NeXTmail too. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Using NeXTstation 2.0 standard. (Currently I am unable to get a UUCP hookup... I know that would be best!) Thank you! __________________________________________________________________ Jason W.
