I've seen plenty of talk about SLIP go by in this group, but haven't seen a lot of concrete information about who's actually using it, and with what success. That's the point of this posting: to gather this information. If you have any experience (positive or negative) with setting SLIP up on your NeXT, please email me. Please tell me where you obtained the version you're using/tried to use, how well it is working (or not working) for you, and how difficult it was to set up. I will post a summary. I'm interested in using SLIP to connect from my NeXT (030, 1.0a) at home to a unix box (3100) at school. I've taken a look at SLIP_2.0.tar.Z, which seems to have NS 2.0 dependencies.
