I would give my entire estate (rumored to be worth more than 10 times the national debt) for a PERFECT 1970 Volvo 145 with a manual transmission and overdrive. Most of you are now staring, mouths agape, lips drooling with the question "WHY?" - The answer is: They're great cars. It also helps that I've got enough spare parts to rebuild one from scratch. They don't get much simpler than this boys. As to cars performing as people/stuff movers they don't get any better. I've got one right now and I'll bet that it'll outlast any of the trash you might be picking up for four times its original purchase price. Just took apart the transmission and the front wheel bearings for the first time in 16 years/120,000 miles. Boy, I wish I hadn't. They were fine. Gregory "Factory Specs." Travis -- Gregory R.
