Sorry about posting this to the net and not replying directly, but our machine never recieved the original article. I'm replying from a reply. The original poster was looking for info on a 1965 Mustang California Special fastback. The replier stated that the CS was only manufactured in the 1968 year. This is NOT true. There have been confirmed reports from California dealerships that these cars were available as early as 1966. Maybe is was a 66, and not a '65 ? In any case, check the DSO first to see what district the car was shipped to. I'm not sure what the DSO for the various Ca. areas are, but I could find out. Also, I have the address of a club solely for CS's (again, not with me). They would be a big help, I'm sure. Could you send me the original article, or tell me more of the car ?
