I just uploaded elk-1.2.tar.Z and elk-1.2.NeXT2.0.tar.Z to the /pub/Incoming area on cs.orst.edu. I imagine the files will appear in the next couple days. Anyway, the latter file has diffs for elk 1.2 that enable it to run under NeXT OS 2.0. These mods also enable elk 1.2 to dynamically link new scheme code into the running interpreter. Hopefully, the next release of Elk will have the NeXT code folded in. I'm providing these diffs separately so that folks don't have to wait. Share and enjoy. Would it be possible for people to put in a brief explanation of the programs in along with the posting announcing it's availability? This would save me from downloading every new thing I see in /pub/next/2.0-release/sources. A retroactive listing placed along with the files in this and the 1.0-release directories would be nice but probably too much to ask. Oh sorry. Elk is an scheme interpreter. Scheme is a dialect of lisp. I also re-uploaded the whole mess to /pub/next/submissions on cs.orst.edu so you should be able to grab it right now. -- Chris Maeda, Grad Student from Hell |Mail: cmaeda@cs.cmu.edu Yow!
