Greetings: I'd really like to pick up a NextStation for use at home. I suppose largely it would connect to my DecStation at work but I'd like to be able to do some development (portable stuff) on it. My problem is that I can't afford both the NexStation and the extra 300M (or any extra) disk. $4500CDN is about the best I can do. What I'd like to know is this... Is anyone out there actually using the Station with only the 105M disk? Has anyone removed the NextLibrary? (40Megs of what? It's not the man pages) Just how big is the C compiler? How large are the man pages? Am I dreaming? Or can I remove a lot of stuff (demos, user interface stuff, WriteNow, etc.), add in a C compiler and libraries, add in man pages, and still have 10 to 20Meg? :) -- # Harold Tomlinson ## haroldt@paralandra.yorku.ca # # Computing & Communications Services ## (416)736-5257-33802 # # YORK UNIVERSITY, Ont, CANADA ## ########################### #
