Everybody's talking about XNeXT but the ftp site escapes me and archie...
So could somebody :-) let me in on this.  BTW, has Jobs changed is
mind on X?

Also, what's the scoop on this SLIP?  Is this the modem interface
we've been waiting for?

no.  ppp is better.

i've been working on sl/ip but am currently paused because i need two
machines to do kernal debugging.

one cannot just "port" current implementations to the NeXT.  the
kernel is different and under 2.0 other changes have been made.
