(I guess this is the best place to ask the following...) I am trying to get kermit onto my new 68040 NeXT. I can download kermit5a.165.bin20.tar.Z apparently succesfully to a VAX via ftp, but when I go to uncompress the file uncompress always gets to a certain point, gives me a message about corrupt input, then hangs. Downloading the file over again still produces the same results. Perhaps the file has been corrupted? Does anyone know who to contact at orst about this? Many thanks, Anne

Many thanks to those who wrote and reminded me to use ftp in binary mode. Problem solved, and next time I'll know! Anne
