Hi! the readme from Radical Eye states that their teX on my 1.0a system is 'gargantuan'. What a joke. I tried to make a dutch TeX/LaTeX version and the hyphenation could not be handled! Even my Atari does better! English hyphenation uses 6000 out of the available 8000, but dutch, german and other languages need up to 120000. Other sizes are not so gargantuan either. What were they used to: a PC? Also, the Makefont script removes the .tfm file. Nice when you add fonts outside the standard set! So, does anybody know where I can find the sources of TeX 3 that can be used for the NeXT? Gerben PS. This was my first (minor) disappointment with something related to my NeXT. I still *love* the machine + software! But making so small a TeX on so big a machine is really stupid. -- ============================================================================= Extended Bulletin Board Service, Research & Development Office of Information Technology, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill internet: bbs.acs.unc.edu or 128.109.157.30

I haven't noticed problems with capacity or the Makefont script with the version that came with 2.0, although I haven't pushed the hyphenation. >So, does anybody know where I can find the sources of TeX 3 that can be >used for the NeXT? I bet that Tomas Rokicki and Radical Eye Software would help you solve your problem. Tim Van Zandt tvz@princeton
