REPLIES PLEASE TO: gerben@rug.nl NOT TO THIS BBS mail address. I need to apologize. I have wrongly accused Scott Hess (the author of Stuart) in my previous posting on Stuart. It's not a valid excuse but too many things went wrong in a short time and I lost my temper. It might however be a good idea to change the Cannot write ~/.Stuartrc message into something explaining the problem. If I have made a directory writable I do not expect a write to file to fail, so I look for other possible causes. I have wronged Scot Hess with my conclusion, so: sorry, I should not have said that. I have also been a little hars on Radical Eye. Now, normally I would have contacted them directly on the net, but their info only stated a telephone number (I am in Europe). Still, the claim of their TeX being 'gargantuan' comes from their README, so I was a little provoked. For people who made remarks on the Atari, no it is *not* a system with more than 1MB RAM. -- ============================================================================= Extended Bulletin Board Service, Research & Development Office of Information Technology, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill internet: bbs.acs.unc.edu or 128.109.157.30
