Well, I'm currently a proud owner on a NeXTStation. Only problem you see, is that it is non-functional. Symptoms: -------- When any user (including root) tries to login at the NextStep login it exits back out to the login window. What happens is that it draws the dock, launches the auto-launch apps, the cursor spins, it coredumps, and then exits back out to the login window. What I have done: ---------------- I have reloaded the Netinfo database. I have run a script that reset ownership and permissions back to the state they were in when it was shipped. I have tried adding new users, but they have exactly the same symptoms. This system is at home and therefore is not part of any network. I have talked through the regular channels, but they have been very slow to react. Clues: ------ All I have is the console.log - Software Version 2.0 (Warp6.4) Apr 6 16:26:22 cthud -[133]: loginwindow: Workspace exited ts 11 cd 1 rc 0 sv 139 ss 0.
