Can someone refer me to either on-line or published documentation describing how to create, manipulate, and destroy C data structures from Common LISP on the NeXT? The on-line docs provided with Common LISP aren't much help, as their roff formatting means the digital librarian can't index them very well, while the Franz reference manual is mainly useful if you already know the names of the features you are looking for. I also have the Guy Steele Jr. book somewhere, but have found that it suffers from the same problem as anything associated with Common LISP--too big. This is what comes of using a language designed by a committee, I guess. I just wish it were easier to get to the documentation on the features of particular interest. Perhaps the next Common LISP manual will be in hypertext format :-) Thanks in advance, Ken Mc Donald {mcdonald@cs.sfu.ca}
