I am trying to play the "ClassicalGas" score, which I copied from the Lighthouse Designs First Compilation disk. It is a "second version", which contained in a README file a profuse apology from the author explaining that the older version of the score had bugs which he had subsequently fixed. When I try to play it, I get a string of error messages from ScorePlayer. declaring that it "can't find file score1.out" and so on for all the files that are included in the main score. I looked up the syntax, and the includes are all done with the right punctuation, I tried putting the .out files in different locations, making sure they had the right name and all, and I also tried putting in the entire path name for the included files within the quote marks in the include statement. None of this had any effect. This is not exactly a major emergency, but it really bugs me that I can't seem to get this to play, when everything *looks* just right. Any suggestions? Incidentally, here is a listing of errors that I get when I try to use the "playscore" command in the shell: score1.out, pg 1, line 1: A body statement or declaration may not begin with ;. part1 (not score1.out, pg 1, line 1: A body statement or declaration may not begin with ;. part1 (not score1.out, pg 1, line 1: A body statement or declaration may not begin with ;. part1 (not score1.out, pg 1, line 1: A body statement or declaration may not begin with ;. part1 (not score2.out, pg 1, line 1: A body statement or declaration may not begin with ;. t +eight; score3.out, pg 1, line 1: A body statement or declaration may not begin with ;. t +eight-0 score4.out, pg 1, line 1: A body statement or declaration may not begin with ;. ... and on and on. Any help with this would be appreciated. Thank you. --- Anthony Berno (aberno@questor.wimsey.bc.ca) The QUESTOR Project: Free Public Access to Usenet & Internet in Vancouver, BC, Canada, at +1 604 681 0670.
