I have been trying to use the serial ports, but I am having a lot
of trouble with sending and receiving data. I am trying to connect a
Visual Display Unit thru the Serial Port, but it does seem to be responding
I can send 2 bytes of data to ring a bell in the Visual Display Unit but
it does not seem to be doing anything else.
I have checked the cables, and tried everything I can think of!
Has anyone done a similar thing?
I would appreciate any help.

Yes -- I have had, particularly printing via the serial port, as well as running applications from SoftPC. I am told that this should be fixed in release 2.1 -- hope that NeXT ships them soon -- else they will put SoftPC out of business! Greetings, Hardy -------****------- Meinhard E.
