1. How do you tell InterfaceBuilder to use "tabs" instead of spaces when indenting the interface and implementation source files? I use tabs for all my indentation, and set the tab spacing to whatever value I wish using Edit. 2. Is there any documentation that explains the process of partitioing a hard drive and how to create a suitable disktab entry? I've read all the online documentation and UNIX man pages and I still don't quite understand what the disktab parameters are! I have created a disktab entry for my drive with three partions, but how do I know that I'm using all the space in the drive? The first thing I tried was using "disk -i /dev/rsd0a" to let my NeXT figure out the parameters for creating one big partition. It worked! It made a partition with a total of 1060445 sectors (it's a 1.2 GB drive) using 37 sectors/track 15 tracks/cylinder and 1931 cylinders. Output from "scsimodes" tells me that my drive has 38 s/t, 15 t/c, and 1931 c with 1 spare s/t, 30 alternate tracks per volume and 1060604 usable sectors. Why did my NeXT select to use 37 s/t? I also know that it reserved 160 sectors for the drives "front porch" (which explains 1060445). What is this "front porch" anyway? ... I guess you get the picture! BTW, my drive is a Seagate ST41200N 1.2GB drive (1035 MB formatted) using 1024 bytes per sector. Hope all this made some sense!!!!! =============================================================================== Felix A. Lugo AT&T Bell Laboratories, Naperville, IL AT&T NeXT User Group T.Y.C.
