I think that the recent posting of the best/worst car list have
been a very interesting. I also feel that alot of people have gotten
a good(used loosly) car that has been said to be a piece of junk.
For example, The Chevy Vega, alot of people bought that car, and
it may not be a bad one, but, one can not deny that the 4 cylinder model
came apart at the seams. The body itself was not to well constructed.
It had low seats, cramped interior, and rotted badly, better rust proofing
after 1975 helped some. But, speaking of rot boxes, there are a few others.

The AMC Pacer, the upside down toilet, not fishbowl, was a master-
piece of junk body wise. My girlfriend owned a Pacer and it was a pretty
good car to her. Body wise it had very, very little rear quarter panel
left and the paint was(what was the paint???:-)) non existing. As for
other AMC's of the mid 70's I can not judge but, my 1980 Spirit is a pretty
good car, I have been hit by a 1978 Chevy Blazer, and no major damage is
to be reported(less than $300.00). I am quite happy with my car by "worst
auto manufacturer".

As for the best car, my vote is a 1965 Mustang 289 cid, 4 bbl, 271 hp.
very nice!!!!!! or I'd vote for a '63 Corvette convertible small block
V8!!
