There is a design defect in the 85 Chrysler EFI logic module. For the past several months my LeBaron GTS has been difficult to start in cold weather (< 35 F). In general the logic module must be warmed up for approximate 1 minute for each degree F below 35 degrees, i.e. 5 minutes at 30 degrees or 30 minutes at 5 degrees. After the requisite amount of time the Power Loss light flashes (indicating that the logic module has passed it's diagnostics) and the engine will start. Until the light goes on no fuel or spark will be applied to the engine. I have had 2 of the old rev logic modules in my car both of which displayed the same problem. A colleague of mine also has a turbo EFI Chrysler with a similar problem. About 2 weeks ago my dealer received a notice from Chrysler about the defective logic module. Chrysler now has an ECO'd logic module and power module (both must be replaced) which fixes the problem. I have just had my modules replaced and the problem is gone. I don't know if Chrysler is planning to issue a recall or not but if you are experiencing similiar problems there is a fix available.
