The solution to the PLI Superfloppy 2.8 booting problem which I presented recently is as follows: 1) Set the SCSI device No. of the Superfloppy to 6. 2) Ignore the terminator switch label on the back of the device and follow the directions in the manual (p. 25) which state "flip the three-position [switch] to the LEFT (as you are facing the back of the drive)". My computer is a Cube and the only SCSI devices are the internal hard disk (SD 1) and the floppy (SD 6). Strangely I was not able to get the crucial advise 2) from either PLI or the vendor NeXTConnection (although NeXTConnection was more helpful), but rather from another user who happened upon this solution.
