[comp.sys.next] Dove Fax Ring Detection

I just purchased the Dove Fax for my Cube. It works great, except
for one little thing:

When I hook it up to my phone/fax switch-box, it no longer detects
rings. My Abaton has no problem with the rings, but the Dove won't
pick up.

Does anyone know how the modem ring detector works? Anyone out there
from Dove?

I saw a posting a few days ago about a mod that Dove will do on the
Fax/Modem, but like a moron, I didn't save it. What was it about?
