I have been examining some of the accouting about user login times and printer usage and daily, monthly reports, etc. Currently I have been only able to get the printer accouting to work properly. I cannot find any reference in the documentation concerning these issues. True, this is more of a unix question, but I am interested to know why this is the case. The user accounting does work (ac) but it only lists those users who have brought up a terminal. Users who only log into the window server are not recorded. This seems odd to me. Could someone please respond as to why this is the case and perhaps how these other accounting steps can be implemented. This is a standalone system, but I am just interested. By the way it is a Color NeXTstation obviously running 2.1 if that matters. Thanks. Brian ZImmerman bz08@andrew.cmu.edu
